Gynaecomastia
Gynaecomastia surgery is a procedure to remove excess breast tissue from men. This may be corrected either by liposuction alone if your gynaecomastia is very mild. However, in most cases, a combination of liposuction and a small incision below the nipple to remove the excess breast tissue is needed. If the gynaecomastia is more pronounced, skin may have been stretched by the excess breast tissue and a longer incision across your chest may be needed.
After the surgery, you'll likely feel some pain and discomfort. Your chest will be wrapped in gauze or an elastic bandage to help minimize swelling and support your chest as it heals.
It's important to follow Dr Victoria’s instructions during your recovery to ensure proper healing. This includes wearing the compression garment as instructed and avoiding any strenuous activity or lifting heavy objects for at least four weeks.
